Apple has announced a product launch called “Welcome Home” for 13 October. According to Gurman, Apple will present 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with an OLED touchscreen, an OLED iPad mini, an M6 14-inch MacBook Pro and an M6 iMac on or around Tuesday 27 October. iPhone Duo pre-orders open 16 October; you can set up your order from Monday
Certain iPhone
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo start on 16 October at 5 a.m. Pacific Time, and the phone goes on sale on 23 October. Through Apple’s Get Ready process you can, from Monday 12 October, already lock in colour, storage, accessories, AppleCare+, trade-in, payment method and addresses, so ordering later takes almost a single tap. That helps because supply is expected to be limited.

He also discussed the education programme with The King’s Trust and Apple Music Hall in London.

Apple is not forcing the upgrade and recommends at least iOS 26.7.1 for the latest security fixes; no iOS 27 adoption figures have been published.

In a joint report filed on 7 October, Apple says it is still waiting for YouTube revenue, channel analytics and communications it requested from Prosser three months ago. Prosser says he has met his agreed obligations and argues the alleged trade secrets became public after iOS 26 and macOS 26 shipped. Co-defendant Ramacciotti wants his case separated and asks for a conference in October; otherwise the next update is due on 2 December.

No other reliable source backs this up and the account has a mixed track record. The device is otherwise expected with an A20 Pro, thinner bezels and a camera on the landscape edge.
